Yacht class "Flying Dutchman" will take part in the XVIII Pskov sailing regatta dedicated to the 350th anniversary of Peter the Great. As well as the 333rd anniversary of the creation by Peter I with his Dutch friends of the "amusing fleet" on Lake Pleshcheyevo in Pereslavl-Zalessky, which laid the foundations for the future glorious Russian fleet.
The Flying Dutchman is a high-speed Olympic dinghy with a crew of 2 people.
The Dutchmen have already been to Lake Pskov — they participated in the Pskov sailing regatta in 2009, led by the representative of the President in the State Duma and the Honorary President of the RusYF Alexander Kotenkov.
